Passed away on March 14, 2019, in Philadelphia from drug use. Mark was born on April 30, 1988 and was a 2006 graduate of Central Catholic High School where he was a member of the baseball team. Mark received his undergraduate degree in Spanish from Duquesne University, and after studying in Italy, Argentina and England, graduated from Regent University School of Law in 2016. He is survived by his girlfriend, Andreina Mercedes, and their seventeen-month-old son, Adrian DePasquale. Also survived by his parents, James and Helen DePasquale, his brother, Thomas DePasquale, and his nephews, J.T. and Thomas DePasquale and his grandmother, Jenny Berrios.

My beloved son Mark you were the reason for us to live. We missed you every minute on our life.
July 31, 2019
We loved Mark since he was a young boy. He spent so much time in our home that it felt like Mark was part of our family. God loved him enough to end his suffering and to bring him home. I am certain that my own son was there to welcome him as well. Mark will be missed by anyone who saw through to his gentle and kind soul. We love you Mark....Stan and Valerie Paul

Mark was a wonderful human being, my son that use to tell me Mom I will take care of you when you get old, he was a very private person an very humble, the one thing he loves was to travel and he did, he traveled all through Europe and South America, he had a passion to learn different cultures and learn different languages. I have to say he was my husband best friend, we both are struggling to live every day. I know for a fact my life is devastated I will never be the person at was before he left us, I cried every night looking at his pictures but I know he is by our side protecting us and when my day comes to leave this horrible world he will be waiting for me. Oh my God why did you take him he had so much to live for his family his career and his beautiful son. I can not understand what did we do to deserve this horrible tragedy, I like to leave this world to be with my wonderful son Mark.

Mary Fran and I are crushed by this news as he had so much talent. I can recount many times when his older cousin Mark would talk about his talented cousin. I saw you all were up front with his demon and hopefully this will intensify the awareness and effort to better deal with this widespread affliction. My condolences to all my DePasquale friends and their kin. Mike Domach

On Thursday I got news that one of my best friends Mark Depasquale passed away. He was like a 3rd brother to me. All those days spent going to games at Three Rivers Stadium and PNC Park. All the days spent playing baseball at Central and in the summer's with PC. Going to the gym everyday together. Working at the club. I've got to say that I'm proud that you accomplished your life long dream of being a Lawyer. It hurts me so much to say this, but the last day I saw you was at my wedding. You will be missed very much. Rest In Peace Brother.

Jimmy, Carmine (Charles ) D'Andrea here. I am heartbroken to hear about this and the suffering your family is going through. While I did not know Mark personally, he was obviously a very accomplished person and good son. I am devasted to hear about this and saddened that this insidious disease has claimed the life of another gifted person . I found out about this from my Mother Eleanor. I have seen too many lives impacted by addiction and understand what you and your family are going through . Please know that we love you and have you in our prayers . God Bless .

Mark and I met at Duquesne University in 2009 in a philosophy course. Mark was at that time very impressed by spiritual and religious theories and had been following a ten-step program. He approached me with interest and kindness and an immediate friendship ensued.
While Mark was studying Italian in Palermo, Sicily, he had the great generosity to invite me to visit him. This was my first trip abroad and only trip to Europe. I have many photos and videos from this trip, which would never have happened without Mark's kindness and enthusiasm.
I will always remember Marko as a fun, intellectual and devoted friend and brother. I miss you so much! Be at peace and do not stop searching for your Truth and Joy.
