Mark Halboth Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jul. 23, 2024.
Mark Charles Halboth, 55, passed away peacefully at his home in Kittredge, Colorado on June 24, 2024. He was born December 16, 1968 in Denver, to Nelda and Charles Halboth. He was a graduate of Middle Park High in Granby, CO, Class of 87. He was a master craftsman, who had the ability to make something absolutely beautiful from absolutely nothing. He skied hard, biked hard, lived hard and loved hard. His sense of humor was beyond compare. He had a big heart and his loss will leave a huge hole in the hearts of those he loved. He is survived by his father Chuck, his sister Becky (Malouff), brother-in law Bill Malouff, nephew Nick Malouff, niece Grace Malouff, his former wife Jen Halboth and his sweet, beautiful son, Hank Halboth. If you are reading this, and knew Mark, he will be touched that you remember the intelligent, unique and creative spirit he brought to this world.

I remember when I had asked Uncle Mark to draw me a tiger when I was younger. He whipped it up like it was nothing. I kid you not, he was so extremely skilled in his art. Uncle Mark had an eye for creativity and it showed through his art. Not only was he artistic but he also had a sense of humor. I remember the day he had chosen my nickname that has and will stick with me for the rest of my life, Gravy. I will miss you forever Uncle Mark. You will always be the best uncle in my heart.

Mark and I grew up together and every memory I have of Mark are some of my best memories I have as a kid. We camped, fished, played Barbie´s, threw pop rocks in the toilet and played pranks on our older sisters. He made me laugh and that was the best gift a true friend could give me. My deepest condolences to Becky, Bill, Chuck, Nick, Grace, Jen and Hank.

When i was 10 i got to stay with him and go learn how to chop trees for his fire wood. I just remember talking nonsense the whole time and getting to learn how to use an axe. Also can´t forget the crazy pumpkins he would carve every year.
