Dear Tiina, I am so sorry for your loss. I am embarrassed to say I just found out about Mark's passing. He and I were very close during our Law School days and for many years after. And then as life sometimes does we lost touch with one another and yet whenever we met or bumped into one another it always felt as if no time had passed and the same closeness and love was always there. He was a very special soul and will be missed. My sincerest condolences to you and the family. Peter Israel.

My condolences to the family. I knew Mark all the way back to public school at Forest Hill South Prep. He was always a good friend and intelligent caring student. I was saddened to hear the news from mutual friends.

Dear Gail and Dianne:
I was saddened to hear about the recent passing of your brother. As I am the youngest in my own family I have always felt that an older brother is like a pillar of security for younger siblings. Your loss must be all the more difficult to bear. I well remember Mark from high school and from my visits to your parents' house. I hope that you can find the spiritual strength to pass through this difficult time.
With sincere condolences,
Geoffrey Clarfield

Mark and I spent many enjoyable hours together while at law school and afterward. Whether it was cramming for exams, playing backgammon, visiting our favorite delicatessens (there were many!) or whatever, he was always a convivial and engaging companion. My condolences to his daughter, life-companion and family members.
