Mark Shultz Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on May 13, 2025.
Mark Shultz, 57, of De Pere, WI, peacefully rode off to the highway in the sky on May 11, 2025, surrounded by loved ones, following a recent cancer diagnosis.

Mark's passing leaves a deep void in the hearts of many, but his memory will be forever cherished by all who knew and loved him.

Born on June 30, 1967, to Roy and Barb (Goss) Shultz, Mark grew up in Darlington, WI. After graduating from high school in 1985, he began working alongside his father at Shultz Auto Body and Locksmith. These early experiences shaped a lifelong career in the automotive industry. His expertise in automotive painting led to a 29-year career as an Automotive Paint Sales Technician with LKQ Corporation.

Mark was a man who lived life with passion and purpose. Known for his adventurous spirit and easy-going nature, he found joy on the open road, often riding his motorcycle to soak in the freedom and beauty of the journey. His laughter was contagious, and his loyalty to family and friends unwavering.

He is survived by the love of his life, Katrina; his daughters, Sydney (James) and Maddie (Christian); his mother, Barb; his sister, Suzy (Dale); and his niece, Andrea (Jake). He is also lovingly remembered by his bonus children: John (Samantha), Britni (Tyler), Angel (Brandon), and Hunter; along with his bonus grandchildren: Ryker and Brooklyn. Mark leaves behind countless friends and colleagues who were touched by his kindness, generosity and humor.

He was preceded in death by his father, Roy, in 2023.

A gathering to celebrate Mark's life will be held on Sunday, June 22, 2025, at The Stadium View Event Hall, 1963 Holmgren Way, Green Bay, WI 54304, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Family and friends are invited to share memories and enjoy a luncheon that will be provided.

Mark's journey on this earth may have come to an end, but his spirit and legacy will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him. Rest in peace, Mark. You will never be forgotten.

Barb, Suzy and family, I was sadden to hear of the news of Mark's passing. I have many fun memories growing up with Mark as my neighbor buddy. We always were playing or building something together. Usually we stayed out of trouble. Although I hadn't seen Mark since our last class reunion, it was nice catching up with him and remembering our younger days together. Please know that you all are in my thoughts and prayers.
