Mark Stevens Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jan. 1, 2025.
Highland - Mark Fleming Stevens (Highland, MI), originally from Dearborn, MI, joined his Savior Jesus Christ on December 29, 2024, at the age of 60 after a courageous battle with cancer. Mark was the heart and soul of his family and was married to the love of his life, Mania. He was an extremely proud and dedicated father to his five wonderful kids - Samantha, Grant, Gabriel, Sophie, and Garrison. Mark's faith was strong, and his life was committed to following Jesus.

Mark was the President and owner of Printing Systems Inc., Taylor, MI, a legacy from his father, Edwin Stevens. With his keen eye for detail, unparalleled organization, genuine care for customer service, and incredible work ethic, Mark transformed the company into a leader in election ballot printing. Mark took great pride in mentoring his sons, Grant and Gabriel, on the operations of the business, and they played significant roles in the company's success in recent years. With their dedication and the loyal team Mark assembled, Printing Systems will continue to uphold its reputation for quality and integrity for years to come.

Mark was born into a family where golf wasn't just a sport but a way of life. Swinging a golf club before he could even say "fore," Mark grew up at the Dearborn Country Club. His talent shone bright, earning him All-State honors at Dearborn High School and leading him to play golf at Odessa College in Texas. After a stint as a golf pro, he joined his dad in the family business but never let go of his love for golf.

He took great joy in sharing this passion with his own kids, with his daughter Sophie particularly excelling. Together, Mark and Sophie celebrated countless victories, from junior tournaments to her golf scholarship at the University of Florida. Mark was there for all the big moments, from cheering her on at the Drive Chip and Putt at Augusta National to proudly caddying for her in her LPGA debut this past summer.

In addition to his incredible wife, Mania, and his beloved children, Mark is survived by his loving parents, Edwin and Linda Stevens; his brothers, Mike and John Stevens; his sisters, Jennifer Pattison (Mark) and Amanda Smith (Kevin); his sister-in-law, Rosheen Hunter; and his brother-in-law, Michael Kilano (Cheri). He also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews who will miss him dearly.

Mark's strong faith and love will forever remain in our hearts. Mark was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Celebration of life service is Wed, January 8, 2025, at 11:00 am. Floodgate Church, 1535 N. Old US 23, Howell, MI, 48114. Luncheon to follow at Baker's of Milford, 2025 S. Milford Rd. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Mark's name to samaritanspurse.org

I have many great memories of Mark, Ed and Linda at the Dearborn Country Club. They also took great care producing the required printing products for our customers to support our computer software. I cannot attend the memorial because of a prior commitment on Jan 8, but will remember all of you in my prayers. Blessings to the Stevens' families. Andy Arizala, Ann Arbor.
