Mark A. Wintch was born in Salt Lake City, UT to Garth A and Darlene C. Wintch Madsen. He married Marci Cheney; later divorced.
He was a Master Electrician and owned Wintch Construction & Wintch Electric. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter.
Survived by his son, Payden; stepchildren Kyler and Shelby; mother; siblings, Michelle Moss, Eileen (Gary Parker, Larry (Stacey) Wintch; and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his father.
Funeral services will be Friday, May 29, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at the Riverside 1st LDS Ward, 5425 S. 600 W. A viewing will be Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 S. State St., and Friday from 9:30-10:15 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment: Manti City Cemetery at 2:30 p.m.

Eileen I just found out of my friend passing after returning from Kuwait and Kosovo. What a loss he was my best childhood friend. Can you please pass my condolences to your mom and family.

We will miss Mark coming down to visit when he had a spare minute and just wanted to visit. He was a great man. I will be missed. Our thoughts are with your family.
