Martha Barron Obituary
She was born in Bakersfield on August 31st 1942 to parents Sarah Delgado Barron and George Barron Sr.
Marti was a kind hearted spirit whom enjoyed working in her yard, cooking, crafting and spending time with family. She provided love and support for her two sons while working as a waitress at Mexicali West restaurant for twenty-five years. Her children and grandchildren were her greatest treasure. She was the best mom whom valued her family and friends greatly and will be deeply missed.
She will be remembered for her strength, dignity and an uncanny ability to remember everyone's name and exact birthdate.
Her talents included growing the most beautiful plants and flowers, decorating her home for each holiday and topping her gifts with elegant handmade bows.
Marti is survived by her two sons, Larry Lomely (Valerie), Ben Lomely (Veronica); three grandsons, Raymond Garcia, Benjamin Lomely (Chelsey), Roman Lomely; great-grandson, Jacob Anthony Lomely; along with brothers, George Barron Jr. (Adrienne), Gilbert Barron; sister, Michelle Haubert.
Our family would especially like to thank Tina Cardoza for her dedicated and compassionate care.

I worked with Marty at Mexicali West around 1987 ish . She was always upbeat and funny ! I still have the Halloween necklace she made for me ! She was gifted in arts and crafts . Condolences to her family and especially her brother George B. RIP Marty .

My husband and I will never forget sitting and chatting with Marti at the last family reunion this past May. As her family was getting her food, we had the awesome opportunity to not only chat but to pray with Marti. It was so amazing to have her look right at us, hear what was being said and even was repeating the prayer as she heard it being prayed. She was glowing! Such a precious woman and such an honor to have met her. Rest in peace BELOVED Marti. Our deepest condolences to the family. May the Lord comfort you all during this time.
