Dear John, Amber and Aaron,
I loved Gayle so very much. She was the kindest, most unselfish lady who always showed compassion to others through her smile, kind words and encouragement. She was beautiful inside and out. She stood by my side when I married my husband and her being there meant the world to me. I will never forget her. I was blessed with knowing such a precious soul.
Even though our lives led us in different directions, I thought of her often, especially on her birthday, which was just a few days before my own. I loved the way that you loved her, John. The love that you two shared was an amazing display of what love really is...Amber and Aaron, you two were her pride and joy. She just lit up when she spoke of you. I cherish the memories and the laughs we shared.
Praying that you will continue to find comfort and peace in God's grace.

Dear John,
I will never forget meeting you and Gayle. I was working at Jacksonville Savings Bank, in Carthage. She walked in the place with such a positive attitude of bringing life, not only to the building, but to us as individuals. She made the place shine...of course with your help! She certainly "brightened the corner" where she was. Our hearts are saddened by hearing of you and your families loss. We are praying for you all,
Love and prayers,

"Sissie" Sessions Hicks was my first girlfriend. We fell in love at age 6 and remained friends all through high school. The Sessions were like my second family. I can still recall Gayle and Margie teaching me how to ride a bike. I remember our laughter and their help as I kept running into their house and falling over in their front ditch.
I remember being very sad when "Martha" moved away. When she returned, she told me her name was now "Gayle". She remained "Sissie" to me.
May God fill all your hearts with the best and sweetest memories as He is filling mine as I think back on "Sissie's" friendship.
