Martha A. Lynn

Martha A. Lynn, age 86 of Kennett Square, PA, passed away on February 5, 2009 at Ware Presbyterian Village in Oxford, PA. She was the wife of the late Samuel Howard Lynn, who passed away in 1998 and with whom she shared 50 years of marriage. Born in Kennett Square, she was the daughter of the late Levi and Anna LePore DiFilippo. Martha worked at DuPont in Wilmington, DE , as a Switchboard Operator and an Order Coordinator, retiring in 1983, after 30 years of service. She was a member of St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Mother Church in Avondale, PA. Martha enjoyed crafts and casinos, and she loved spending time with her grandchildren and doing artwork and painting. She is survived by a daughter, Mary Anne DePippo of West Grove, PA; grandchildren Debra Lech and Rodney and Eric Schuibbeo; and by 9 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by two sisters, Rose Wilson and Louise Zoccola. You are invited to visit with Martha�s family and friends from 10 am to 12 noon on Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Mother Church, 8910 Gap Newport Pike (Route 41), Avondale, PA. Her Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12 noon at the church. Interment will be in Union Hill Cemetery, Kennett Square, PA.
