Martha Redman Obituary
Born in Tifton, Georgia and raised in Fruitland Park, Florida, Beth served in the U.S. Air Force and later earned a B.A. in Math and English Education. She worked as an Education Program Specialist in the Office of Safe and Drug-Free Schools, dedicating her life to helping others.
Beth is survived by her daughters Sheri Thomas, Lisa Dent, Darla Verdonck, and Kara Redman; their father Walter Redman; 14 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and extended family. She was preceded in death by her son, Larry Redman; her parents; and her brothers David and Donald.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 23, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Blue Ridge, GA. Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m.
The service will be live streamed. Details will be posted on the church website (www.blueridgefbc.org) and funeral home website (www.akinscobb.com).
Beth will be laid to rest at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Searcy, Arkansas.

We are so sorry to hear of Beth's passing. Having only met her once, we did speak on the telephone many times and feel as though we had known her much longer. She was clearly an intelligent, kind, friendly and caring person and all who knew her and loved her will miss her very much.
