Peoria, IL – Mary L. Baggott, 77, of Middleburg, Florida, formerly of Peoria, passed away at 10:54 a.m. Saturday, December 25, 2010 in Jacksonville, Florida.
She was born July 24, 1933 in Herrin, Ilinois to Laverne Joseph and Dorothy (Sprouse) Baggott.
Surviving are two daughters, Jolene (Al) Dunbar, Dorothy (Troy) Richardson; three grandchildren, Shawn Dunbar, Christina Kraemer, Victoria Cullen; eight great grandchildren, Cody, Scott, Brydon, Abby, Ethan, Mallory, Gabby, Andrew; and three brothers, Danny Baggott, Joe (Patty) Baggott, and Jim Baggott.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister, Billie Sue Baggott.
Mary worked at Methodist Hospital for 23 years. She was a former member of St. John Catholic Church.
Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 30, 2010 at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. Visitation will be one hour before services at the funeral home. Burial will be at Parkview Cemetery in Peoria.
Memorials may be made to the Earl B. Hadlow Center for Community Hospice at 4266 Sunbeam Road. in Jacksonville, FL 32257.

Grandma I miss you so much I don't even know what to say right now.....I just wish with everything in the world that u were here I am missing u so very much,I look at the photos every day and I kiss ur cheek and hope you can hear me say I love you !!! Oh Grandma I just don't know I love you Today was the hardest my birthday not getting the phone call I get every year from you to sing to me ....I MISS YOU SO SO MUCH... I love you...Sigh

I first met Mary at Methodist in 1972, we worked together for 3 1/2 years, she was a blast to work with, I often think of her. She will be missed by all. What a sweetheart she was. Peace be with you Mary, till we meet again.

Mary was my Dearest Friend, though we did'nt know each other for long, we hit it off right away, I will remember her fondly forever...She was there when I needed a Friend, and I hope my Love and Friendship, and Prayers, helped in her last months!
