Mrs. Bahrey was definitely an amazing, remarkable, exceptional woman. I have been blessed to know her for most of my life. I always enjoyed going to her home. She always made you feel so welcome. Every time I would see her...she would grab my hand and squeeze it saying "Mia Mia". She worked sooo hard and she had a lot of happy and sorrow in her life but she always had such a GRACE to her. True inspiration to me even as a child but even more now. Of course, she always reminds me of my Baba too. She is the last of that generation of girlfriends to pass away. Now they have reconnected in heaven, having coffee, maybe some perogies and cabbage rolls and playing kaiser (not sure if I spelled right) and we will join then one day. :)

Carmelita Stafford and Kelley Bahrey's Baba was a exceptional bright spot in the eyes of those who knew her. She possessed a certain quiet regalness, that drew you to her mystical little smile, and her kind eyes captured you as a friend, even in her shyness.
Angel and I feel so blessed to have met her through her grandchildren and their Mom. She made us feel part of the family she loved so much.
She will be missed, but remembered lovingly, by countless people like us, who saw the richness of her spirit and the kindness of her heart.
She amazed and surprised us with her vitality and love. Thank you for sharing her with us.

I was a caregiver to Kelly's Grandmother, MARY, and her picture brings a smile to my face. I only knew her a short time on Ward 4 at BDCC. So sad to hear your news. Very Sincerely, and with much sympathy to all family, Jennifer Stec (nee Sack). Former employee of Prairie North Health.
