Mary Frances Rome Bradshaw

Mary Frances Rome Bradshaw, age 85, of Ellenboro, NC, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at the Oakland Living Center. Mary was born January 16, 1934 in Rutherford County to the late Anderson Rome and Anna Sue Mashburn Rome. She was a dedicated homemaker and especially enjoyed cooking for her family, gardening and sewing. She was a member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church and faithfully attended Tri-City Baptist Church while she was in good health. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-nine years, Louie Bradshaw; three sisters, Maudie Rome, Minnie Hill and Fannie Mode and five brothers, Taylor Rome, Lee Rome, Claude Rome, Troy Rome, William Eugene Rome and daughter-in-law, Nancy Bradshaw. Those left to treasure her memory include three sons, Dale Bradshaw and wife, Susan of Ellenboro, Alan Bradshaw of Rutherfordton and David Bradshaw and wife, Raquel of Cheraw, SC; six grandchildren, Aaron Bradshaw (Brittany), Andrew Bradshaw, Elise Harris (Guy), Logan Bradshaw, Lennox Bradshaw and Wesley Bradshaw. The funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 30, 2019 at Tri-City Baptist Church with Reverend James Hollandsworth and Reverend Mike Conner officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the church. Interment will be private in Oak Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will be gathered at 715 Pinehurst Road, Ellenboro, NC. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are requested to Tri-City Baptist Church, 910 Piney Ridge Road, Forest City, NC 28043. The family wishes to thank Mike and Arlene Smith and the Staff of Oakland Living Center for their loving care and compassion given to Mary during her illness.
