Mary, you were an inspiration to so many and never gave up on the vision you had when M da P was just a piece of land. It's an amazing achievement, just like all your other ventures. Many hysterical times and happy memories. Our love & thoughts to your family. Celia, Steve, Alexander & Tatiana Moxey xxx

There is a great sadness hanging over Palhagueira village, now that you have left us. It is never going to be the same without your enthusiastic guidance and leadership. Do please keep an eye upon us and steer our new leaders in your inspired way as ever. Rest in eternal peace.

Mary´s life was a gift to so many people and her friendship was a gift to our family. We shall miss her dearly. Mary was such a fun-loving, generous, adventuresome spirit and the world seems somewhat deflated, now that she is gone. Thank you for magical memories Mary. Our thoughts and prayers are with your children, grandchildren, nieces and all those who loved you so.

We met Mary in the “disabled corral” at Southampton Airport on our first exploratory visit to the Algarve. She was a marvellous woman who gave so much of herself in everything she did. Her village here, and the establishments in England, are and always will be, a lasting memorial to her far-sighted vision, and her professional skills. We shall miss her. Our sincere condolences to the family.
