Mary Jane Duggins

Mary Jane Duggins 83; of New Albany Funeral services for Mary Jane Duggins, 83, of New Albany, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, at the Market Street Chapel of Seabrook Dieckmann and Naville Funeral Homes, with entombment in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park. She died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2007, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services. She was the former Mary Jane Hand, a retired telephone operator for the old Indiana Bell Telephone Company. She was a member of the Salvation Army, Telephone Pioneers of America and the Salvation Army Home League. Survivors include her son, Richard D. Duggins and wife Kelly, New Albany; two grandchildren, Andrew Duggins and wife Jennifer and Amber Duggins; and a great-grandchild, Kerrie Duggins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Duggins; and a son, William Duggins. Visitation at the funeral home will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14. The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Salvation Army.
