She was a good mama with a tough row to hoe, I was lucky to have known her in the later years of her life...

Cousins, I was sad to learn that Aunt Beth had passed but happy to know she lived a long, happy life with her children and Uncle Clinton. To me, it doesn't seem that long ago we were all at those Hurley family reunions in St. Joe. We can take comfort that we will all be at the same table again. Our parents have gone with Jesus to prepare the way for us.

We are so sad to hear of Mary's passing, and yet we rejoice in the hope that she always knew--that life in Jesus is forever. She and Clint were always such encouragers to my parents and my family. Many times they retreated to the Hurley home to heal their hurts and it was always surrounded by good food, good laughter and encouragement to keep the faith. I like to think that tonight in heaven that is the same scene--Mary and Clint, my mom and dad all catching up around that table. The circle will never be broken---they are experiencing life in Jesus. Love to all of you. Jim and Diane Drake (Snyder, Texas)
