Mary Kaley Obituary
Mary and her husband, Robert (Bob) Kaley, raised their family in Ellsworth, Michigan. Mary was deeply devoted to her family and her beliefs. Her caring nature, positive outlook, and unwavering dedication to those around her left a lasting impression on all who knew her. Known for her sharp sense of humor and generous spirit, Mary brought light and laughter into countless lives.
Mary was a lifelong and proud Democrat, a member of the Catholic faith, an animal lover, a fierce protector of those she loved, and a calming voice of reason. She and her husband were members of the East Jordan Sno Mobilers for many years and Mary was an active volunteer with the organization right up until the time of her passing. Her commitment to service reflected the values she held dear-morality, loyalty, and kindness.
Mary is lovingly remembered by her children: Derec (Jody) Kaley; Shelly (Dale) Pringle; Angel (Terry) Anderson; and Lisa (Aud) Shooks-whom Mary loved as her own daughter. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Skyler Thomas, Devon Kaley, and Jilian Kaley; her great-grandson Mason Thomas; her sister and best friend, Joyce Kennedy; and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends whose lives were enriched by knowing her.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her siblings Jean Stillwagon, Ruth Houseman, and James Barber; and her cherished grandson, Dustin Kaley.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations in Mary's name be made to any local charity who gives directly to community members in need, especially the elderly, veterans, and animal rescue groups
Mary's legacy lives on through the countless lives she touched with compassion and joy. May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her. A Celebration of Life will be held on August 9, 2025, at 01:00 PM at East Jordan Sno Mobiler's Clubhouse - 5586 Mount Bliss Rd, East Jordan, Mi.
