AGE: 74 • Westfield
Mary June Taylor Korb, 74, of Westfield, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 23, 2014, at home. June was born in Quitman, Georgia to Lampkin Jelks and Laura Luell Taylor. She was raised in Quitman by her beloved parents along with her dear brother, John Lee Taylor, before moving to Westfield in 1961. June worked for Micron Powder Systems, Summit, N.J. in accounting for many years before retiring ten years ago. June enjoyed traveling, bowling, softball, Southern cooking and spending time with her family, particularly her cherished granddaughters.
June was predeceased by her parents and brother. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Craig and Shannon Korb of Point Pleasant, N.J.;adoring Granny to her granddaughters, Marley Louise and Lucy June Korb; her longtime companion and best friend, Judy Shedlak of Westfield, N.J.; and many family and friends in Quitman, Georgia.
Visitation and Life Celebration will be Tuesday, August, 26 from 4-8 at Gray Funeral Home, Westfield, N.J and Friday, August, 29 from 10-11 at Maxwell-Miller Funeral Home, Quitman, Georgia with burial following at Oak Hill Cemetery, Quitman, Georgia.
