I will always remember Mary's smile and the way she said "hi" with a great big hug every time she came in for her treatment. Her strength, beauty, and warming presence will be greatly missed. To all of Mary's family, especially Roy and their children, you are often in my thoughts. Mindy RN

To Roy and Mary's family, we nurses at PCI were so saddened to hear of Mary's passing. I am glad we could be there for you at a difficult time, and it was our privilege to know such a gifted lady. We never saw her without a smile despite such hardships. I remember coloring late one afternoon with her daughter while her meds were infusing!!! Please know that we are thinking of you at this time. I looked forward to everytime I knew she would be in the crowd. She made the music better. She made all of us better. Missing her so much...

Oh my beautiful girl! So grateful that Mary came into my life when she came to the FSU/Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training. Mary was one of my babies who always made me laugh with her spirit and outrageous sense of humor. Her laughter will live on in all of us who knew her.

My life will forever be changed since meeting Mary. Her spirit, her will for living, her infectious laugh and her warm embrace are ALL memories I will cherish forever. I was there the day Roy and Mary met at the restaurant in Chicago and their love story was something to admire. I believe they are soul mates. Mary was an amazing friend, a gifted actress, and above all else...a stellar Mom. My heart aches for Roy,the children, her parents, Mickey and the entire Lipple/Smetana families. I feel blessed to have met and known Mary and please know that MY LIFE will always be more beautiful because I called her my friend.
