Mary Marzec Obituary
Passed away peacefully with family by her side at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Tuesday, April 19th, 2011, at the age of 91. Predeceased by her loving husband Julian, and by her daughter Lucia. Survived by daughter Christine (Cal). Mary will be missed by grandchildren Christine (Greg) and Darren (Sarah). She leaves behind great grandchildren Samantha, Stephanie, Claire and Georgia. Mary will be best remembered for her traditional Polish cooking and hosting large family dinners. She truly loved life and enjoyed tending her vegetable garden. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the caring and compassionate staff at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, Units 6G and 6C, as well as Whitby Hospital 4th floor and the staff at Extendicare. A Funeral Mass will be held at ST. HEDWIG'S ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH (411 Olive Ave., Oshawa) on Tuesday, May 10th at 10:00 a.m. Donations will be gratefully accepted for the SickKids Foundation or the charity of your choice.

Chris, Cal and family,
My condolences on the loss of your Mother who was also a Grandmother and Great Grandmother. Chris, I have lovely memories of your Mother from many, many years ago. We grew up in the same neighbourhood and we spent many years working together.
