Mary Drucilla McGill BurnsAlice, TXMary Drucilla McGill Burns, a lifelong resident of Alice, Texas, passed away Sunday, April 26, 2015, peacefully at the age of 71. Mary Dru was born August 2, 1943, to Henry Frank McGill Jr., and Esther Draper McGill in San Antonio, Texas. She was known to many as a sincere woman who cared for others as her own family. Mary Dru was a rancher, business woman, and avid gardener and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Esther McGill; sister, Frannie McGill Stewart; and the love of her life, Mac Burns, now reunited for eternity. She is survived by her children, Laura Mosser (Bob Wilson) and Stephen Burns Jr., (Toddy) and her three grandsons: Tristan Mosser (Meagan), H.F. Burns and Finn Burns. She is also survived by her special friend, Mary Gutierrez, niece Jettie Powers (Jack), the entire McGill clan, and countless friends and family members.A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, May 7, 2015, at The First United Methodist Church; 111 N.
