GREENSBORO - Mrs. Mary Melba Collins Michael, 79, died on Monday, March 26, 2007, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, March, 29, at Forbis & Dick Pleasant Garden Chapel. Interment will follow at Gilmore Memorial Park.
Mrs. Michael was born in Surry Co. on January 22, 1928, to the late Roy and Lela Bowman Collins. She was a retired waitress with Country Barbecue.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick Henry Michael, Sr.
Mrs. Michael is survived by her sons, Patrick H. Michael, Jr. of Greensboro, Billy J. Michael and wife, Teresa of Greensboro; sisters, Delores Thomas and husband, Jimmy of Virginia, Captula Barnes of Mt. Airy; grandchildren, Angie Elmore and husband, Jamie, Kimberly Michael; great grandchild, Connor James Elmore; and her dog, Rocky.
The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m., prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
