Michael Toomey Obituary
COLONIE - Michael Toomey, 63, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, March 25, 2023.
Born in Albany, he was the son of the late Jerome and Emeline Toomey. Michael was employed by the Albany County Court House as data entry. His main joy was riding his motorcycle with his friends, and in recent years, he loved photography. Michael had many close friends who will miss him dearly.
He is survived by his sisters, Barbara Toomey, and Sheila Finning (Gary); and sister-in-law, Nancy Toomey. He was a proud uncle to many nieces and nephews. Michael was predeceased by his brother, Jerome "Jerry" Toomey.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, March 30, from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. A funeral service will begin at 12 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery.

I have worked with Mike for the last several months. He was a kind, kind man. I have had the honor of spending time with him over the course of work. I have enjoyed our conversations my friend.
