Mary Anne Plourde

Mary Plourde, 84, of Rockville, CT entered eternal rest on Sunday, June 1, 2025. She was surrounded by her loving family until her last breath.

Mary was born on November 30, 1940, in Haverhill, Massachusetts and moved to Rockville, CT with her late husband, Samuel Plourde.

Mary was predeceased by her late husband, Samuel Plourde, her son, Samuel Plourde III, her sister/best friend, Agnus Newcomb, brother, Peter Mickelonis and her great granddaughter Mariyah Gelinas. She leaves behind her daughters Patricia Mickelonis, Shirley Jackson & son-in-law, Edgar Jackson all of Rockville CT; her five granddaughters: Lauren Vitale of Stamford CT, Crystal Jackson (Brian Gelinas) of Rockville CT, Kelly Jackson (Tony Rosario) of Rockville CT, Jessica Jackson (Joseph Hine) of Rockville CT, and Erica Jackson (Luc Dulac) of Rockville CT. She also leaves her 14 great grandchildren, William Vitale (Courtney Vitale), DeAndrew Vitale, Nathanial Gelinas, Vanessa Gelinas, Monique Rubacha (Andre Linton), Scott Rubacha Jr, Angelina Diaz, Adrian Hine, Kayanna Hine, Kasen Hine, Derek Dulac, Jordan Jackson, Jeannette Dulac, and Mayson Dulac. We also can't forget her four great-great grandchildren: Emmeline Vitale, Charlotte Vitale, Wyatt Vitale, and Rosalee Vitale. Finally, her brothers Patrick Mickelonis, John Mickelonis, Michael Mickelonis and family in New Hampshire.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, GG, great-GG, and friend! She was always there to listen and show her support. She would watch all her grandchildren and even her great-grandchildren without any hesitation. She truly loved her family, and her family loved her unconditionally!

At all the family functions she would always be in high spirits, the "firecracker" of the family events, and will truly be missed. She was the glue of the family and was adored by many if not all!

Funeral services, Grove Hill Cemetery Vernon, CT June 27th, 2025 at 11am. Following with a Celebration of life at TKB Club 1 Vernon Ave Vernon, CT
