Mary was my favorite cousin . We enjoyed many childhood memories. Here is one of my favorites: She had a lovely full head of long thick dark hair when we were teens. My hair was thin fine and short, and l had bleached it. I was a freshman in high school and she a year behind me. Once as they visited she decided she wanted her hair blond, so we tried it (without parents permission). Her hair color turned out to be quite orange in color. Aunt Lily said she would have to keep it that way. Mary laughed about it but l felt bad. We both laughed over that memory several times over the years. I have so many funny happy memories to share and keep. l will always love Mary! And l will always remember her warm smile!
