Mary Margaret Sanner

Mary Margaret Sanner, age 54, of Fort Walton Beach, FL passed away in her sleep on March 3, 2016 after a brief illness. She was born Nov 7, 1961 in Erie, PA to Richard Edward and Mary Elizabeth (Tobin) Sanner. Mary received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1983 from Edgewood College in Madison, WI. While raising her two sons, she worked as a Registered Nurse in Michigan, Tennessee, Arkansas, Louisiana, Arizona and Florida. Mary's heart was always full of love and she would reach out to anyone to help make their life easier. Her shrimp recipe is notorious among her brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. She was an amazing nurse and well respected by her peers. She was a blessing to her many friends and a dedicated Mom to her two sons. She was preceded in death by her parents. Mary is survived by sons, Andrew Rice, Seattle, WA and Dillon Rice, Fort Walton Beach, FL. She is also survived by brothers, Mark (Missy) Sanner, Parker, CO and Richard (Darlene) Sanner, Chicago, IL; sisters, Patricia (Paul) Galajda, Thorndale, PA, Rita (Greg) Raucci, Trumbull, CT, Elizabeth (Tim) Baisch, Williamstown, MA and Katie (Don) Burritt, Highlands Ranch, CO as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 10, 2016 at 5:30 PM at Emerald Coast Funeral Home.
