Mary Shell Obituary
Mary was born on July 5, 2006, in Okinawa, Japan to Jude Shell and Christie (Jones) Shell.
Mary was a senior at Langley High School. Mary enjoyed gymnastics and cheerleading, always lighting up the room with her energy and enthusiasm. She was a varsity cheerleader at Langley High. She most cherished her time with friends and family to include her goldendoodle Matilda.
Mary is survived by her parents; Jude and Christie Shell, her sister, Chloe Shell; her brother, Camden Shell; and her grandparents, Vince and Mary Smith, David and Sheila Hughett, Earl and Barb Shell, and Steve and Janis Jones.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 25 from 9:30 to 11:30 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greensburg. Funeral Services will follow the visitation at 11:30 am at St. Mary's with Rev John Meyer officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
Donations in memory of Mary can be made to Inova Fairfax Medical Campus, Falls Church, VA. Online condolences can be made at www.popfuneralhome.com

I am so very sad for all who knew and loved Mary. She was a bright and shining student in my 3rd grade class at Bechtel Elementary in Okinawa. I loved that sweet girl's beautiful smile, twinkling eyes, and bubbly personality. I remember, especially, watching Mary and a classmate joyfully doing cartwheels and other impressive gymnastics out at recess. My heart goes out to Mary's parents and family.

I was fortunate to become friends with the Shell family when Mary's older sister was a student in my class in Okinawa. One of my fondest memories of Mary was when, as a two year old, she would walk Chloe to class and sit down in a student chair,and insist she was ready for school. My ddepest condolences go out to the Shell family over their loss.

I grew up in Okinawa with Mary in elementary school and she was one of my best friends. Mary was always so sweet and genuine and always had smile on her face. Hearing about her passing just sent me into shock and my condolences and prayers go out to her family and friends. She will be missed so much and I´m so lucky I ever got the chance to know her
