Mary Ann Sumrall

Mary Ann Woodyard Sumrall, aka "Hollywood"could always be found in her sunglasses .She passed away at 3:00 a.m. Friday, February 9th, 2018. We are not surprised that she went in the middle of the night because she was always a night owl. She is now in heaven, which we are sure looks like Calvert, Al. for her, with her husband Howard Sumrall, parents Mattie Mae and George Woodyard . She will be surprised and elated to find her brother Jack Woodyard and sister Anita Stallings there because she refused to believe that they had passed away.
She is survived by her brother George (Hilda) Woodyard
daughter Debbie(Jeff) Zoghby, son David Sumrall of Birmingham, grandchildren Tyler (Natalie) Zoghby of Birmingham, Jenna Zoghby of Birmingham, Mary Gray Sumrall of Charlotte, N.C., Megan Sumrall of Birmingham, cousins, nieces, nephew, lunch buddy- Joan Sanders and her cat Krystal. We will miss her wit, love and care; her unpredictable exploits with everyone who came to her door or called; her willingness to go anywhere day or night and concern for all of us.
A service will be held Wednesday, February 14th, at Christ United Methodist Church: 6101 Grelot Rd. Mobile, Al. at 11:00 a.m. There will be visitation at the church with the family to follow.
