GREENVILLE — Mary N. Tester, age 88, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday, January 17, 2018, at Brookdale Senior Living of Greenville. Mary was born November 29, 1929, in Lima, Ohio, the daughter of the late Adrian and Caroline (Barnhart) Tester.
She was retired from Corning Glass of Greenville and was a member of the Corning Retirees Club. Mary also attended the East Zion Church of Greenville.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Michael R. Walter; great niece, Heather Estel; great nephew, Chad Gibbons; brother, William Tester; and a sister, Gladys Byram.
Mary is survived by her daughters, Catherine A. Walter of Troy, Ohio, and Joan Hubert of Cincinnati, Ohio; grandchildren, Kristen Walter, Ashley Walter and Michael Ray Walter II; sisters, Charlotte Bailey and Dawn Beasecker, both of Greenville; nieces, Lori (Brad) Stone, Linda (Randy) Gibbons, Amy (Craig) Tanner; nephews, Michael Beasecker, Todd (Vickie) Bailey, and Daniel (Nancy) Byram; as well as numerous great nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 23, in the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home Greenville, with Chaplain Jacqueline Collins officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenville Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 12 noon until time of the services in the funeral home. It is the wishes of the family that Memorial Contributions be given to the State of the Heart Care of Darke County. Condolences for the family may be sent to www.zecharbailey.com
