MARY THIBERT Obituary
(nee Reinhart)
Passed away peacefully at Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital on November 27, 2012. Beloved wife of Dr. Norman Thibert for over 60 years of marriage. Loving mother of William and wife Ines (Corrent), Christopher and wife Diane (Donaldson),Marcus and wife Cynthia (Stewart), Colette and husband Stan Korosec, Josette and husband Chris Kett, Yvette and husband Kevin Page, and Mariette and husband Peter Oomen. Cherished Meme of William (Terri), Michael, Daniel, Katherine, Marcie (Andrew), Emily, Claire, Douglas, Anne, Irene, Norman, Lauren, Rachel, Noah, Joseph, Calvin, Sara, Christian, Mary and the late Matthew (2003). Dear daughter of the late Christian and Matilda (Kramer). Dear sister of her late brothers Harold (Kaye), William, Maurice (Myrtle), Robert, and Rev. Joseph M.M., late sisters Kathleen Latourney (Mickey Heffernan) and Marguerite Boehm (Louis), and late sister-in-law Beatrice and Maurice Brisebois. Survived by sisters-in-law Lorine Reinhart, Alice Reinhart and Dr. Mary Ann (Thibert) and Joseph Molinari. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Mary graduated from Loretta Academy in Stratford, Ontario and then from St. Joseph's School of Nursing (London) in 1951. She is a life member of Essex Golf and Country Club and a former member of Gateway Heirloom Questers. She was a volunteer with the Red Cross Blood bank for many years and a long-time member of the Medical Wives Bowling League. Mary always put her family first. Her traditions, unique recipes, and fun-loving sense of humour brought many people together. Mary had a way of making everyone around her feel special. She lived her life with grace, beauty, and style. Mary's legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Visitation at

Mary was my Canadian mother. I bowled with her and she never forgot to hug me and I reassure me that all will be well in my life. I always told her that she reminded me of a grand spanish matriach. I loved her dearly and she made a difference in my life. God bless her family always. Roma

I will always remember Mary's laugh. She had such a big heart. I was a better person for having her in my life. We bowled together for many years. She would give such warm hugs. Our friendship was treasured and will be mine forever.
