Mary Tishmack

Mary Julia "Oma" Tishmack (née Gray), age 81, passed away peacefully on September 14, 2025, in Loveland, Colorado. Born on March 23, 1944, in Tennessee, she lived a life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to her family and faith.

Mary was the beloved wife of the late Richard Tishmack and the cherished daughter of Frank and Velma Gray. She was also preceded in death by her brothers Bert Gray and Gene Gray. Her sister Joy Griffin remains to honor her memory.

A devoted mother and grandmother, Mary is lovingly remembered by her children: son Troy Tishmack; daughter Val Hays; daughter Angela Sadek; and son Corey Tishmack. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren-Nicole Holland, Nicholas Sadek, and Kirsten Sadek-and great-granddaughters Raelynn Holland and Xierra Rodman. The family eagerly awaits the arrival of a third great-granddaughter who will carry forward Mary's spirit.

Mary's life was marked by a deep appreciation for the beauty of the world around her. She found joy in travel, especially to the mountains where she felt most at peace among nature's grandeur. An avid reader with a curious mind, she embraced learning and reflection throughout her life. Her faith was a cornerstone of her being-uplifting music often filled her home as she sang joyfully while going about her day.

She held a profound respect for freedom and was a proud supporter of our country, its military, and veterans. Her patriotism was matched only by her love for family. Whether gathered around the table or exploring the outdoors together, Mary treasured every moment spent with those she loved.

Known for her radiant smile, infectious laugh, and unparalleled wit, Mary brought light into every room she entered. She had an extraordinary ability to make others grin simply by being herself-a gift that endeared her to all who knew her.

As we say goodbye to Mary, we take comfort in knowing she is reunited with Richard-her beloved husband-and with Corky and Porter once more. We imagine her singing joyfully with Jesus, free from pain at last.

Her love lives on in all our hearts forever. May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and cherished her. A Funeral Service will be held on September 22, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Carroll-Lewellen Funeral Home 503 Terry Street . Reception to be held following Service
