Just today, I came across Masons "Honor Walk". Honestly, I didn't know what happened, when it happened or even who Mason was. So, I looked his name up and read what happened to him, very sad. Thank you for allowing complete strangers into yours and Masons life at such a horrible time. Your son sounds like an amazing young man, as his parents, you should be very proud.
Being able to help/give a new life to people who are stranger's, that are now walking this earth because of the unselfishness of you and Mason. Not only is Mason a HERO but you as his parents and his siblings are HERO'S, as well.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and the rest of your family and friends. May God bless you
Mason R.I.P.

Mason was an amazing friend of mine who would always come to me with any problems and we were incredibly close. He was a very popular guy and everybody knew him and he was always meet someone and a few minutes later, they would leave laughing and smiling. We met at the beginning of freshman year at New tech and we became incredible friends. He was always comfortable while talking to Jenna and I and of he had any problems or something was troubling him, he would come to either of us. He always had something to talk about, whether it was forging metal, cars, or music. His one song that he always listened to was "The Ring Of Fire" by Johnny Cash. He always stood up for people and defended those he cared about. He was also incredibly brave and he would sometimes talk about fishing and his adventures in nature. This was actually something we both had in common and what made us close. It has been hard to watch from the sidelines for the past few months, but I just wanted his mother and father know that if there is anything I can do to help you all, then please, contact me. I am so sorry for your loss and I am still overcome with grief and sorrow, but then I think of all the memories and stories we've had and it makes me feel overwhelmed with joy and happiness. He is truly a hero and he will never be forgotten by his two close friends.

Rest in heavenly peace Mason, I hope to see you when we are both reunited.

I am so very sorry to here about your son/brother Mason. I read your update ( what courage it took) about Mason and his condition and the heart breaking news that he would not survive and that his death was pending due to your choice for organ donation. I viewed the "Honor Walk" video that you choose to share with the world with great eloquence and love, integrity and respect. I walked every inch of that hall with you as I felt your pain in my heart while I watch his final walk where he was surrounded with love. Because of your choice and because of his gift others will live. He could not be saved but he will save others. My sister had a"Mason" and his family in her life. Like your family they lost a fifteen year old son due to an accident and they too donated his organs. Eight people were able to live because of their unselfish gift and his generous spirit just like your Mason. You are correct in saying that Mason would save lives. (many more than you can imagine). I will remember your son/brother in my prayers and I will remember you. I wrap my arms around all of you in my heart. It is will extreme sadness that I say I am sorry for you great loss and grateful respect that I say thank you for allowing Masons death to give life back to others. God bless you.
