It was an honor and a pleasure to have Matt as a member of the Nissen Chemitec America family. Matt had an excellent work ethic, but beyond that he was a genuinely good and kind person and it is these qualities that drew others to him. From our daily conversations, and being a parent myself, I was always impressed by and proud of Matt whenever he spoke of his parents. It was quite evident to me that Matt truly valued, respected, and loved his parents, Lisa and Jim, and that he was a man of faith. Matt was always positive and if he had a bad day, I never saw him show it. Matt, you are missed greatly by the many people like myself who were fortunate enough to get to a share a part of your life on earth with you.

I am so saddened and shocked to learn of Matt passing away. Matt was a student of mine at Wright St (as was Dan). Both are terrific young men. Matt was always so nice and easy going! I so enjoyed running into him at Wright St. basketball games after he graduated. I just can't believe he is gone. I feel terrible for the entire Behr family. You have my deepest sympathy. His loss is a terrible void.

I graduated with Matt in 2009. I can remember playing football at his house and checking out all his Dad's model airplanes. And when I had an accomplishment posted to Facebook, Matt reached out to congratulate me, despite having not spoken in nearly 8 years.
He was (and is) just a truly good, genuine person.

Bowled with Matt as a teammate on a Wright Patt league. He was a good bowler and an even better person. His presence and good nature will surely be missed by me and others in the league. Prayers to his family.

In loving memory of Matthew Behr. I did not have the opportunity to know Matt very long, but the times that we shared during his tenure here at AFSAC were very memorable. He was the ultimate sports enthusiast that I enjoyed getting to know. What I will miss the most will be his infectious smile that he possessed each time I was around him. He is another of God's Children gone too soon. For the family our prayers are with you. We ask God to be with you during the days, weeks and months ahead, as he extends his loving arms around you. I leave with you the following: "Don't let your heart be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me. There is more than enough rooms in my Father's home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am. And you know the way to where I am going" John 14:1-4
