Matthew Allen Paul, 24, beloved son of Ted and Janet Paul, of Eureka, California, died suddenly on May 19, 2006, as a result of a tragic accident in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Born July 21, 1981, in Eureka, California, Matthew lived in Eureka until he was out of school, then moved to Fayetteville to live and work with his brother, Christopher.
He loved the outdoors and his favorite things to do were hunting, fishing, and camping.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Elsie and Carl Kile and Ethel Batchelder; and uncle, James Russel.
He is survived by his parents, Ted and Janet Paul; grandparents, Richard and Patricia Paul; brothers, Christopher and Jason Paul; sister, Lindsey Andersen and husband Keith; niece, Allicia Paul; uncles and aunts, Tom Paul, Rick and Kim Paul, Janice Paul, Dave Russel, Kyle Russel, Sherri and Dave Burch; and numerous cousins and friends.
There will be a graveside service held on Friday, May 26, 2006, at 11:00 am at Ocean View Cemetery, 3975 Broadway, Eureka, California.
Care is under the direction of Chapel of the Ferns Sanders Funeral Home, Eureka, California.

Chris Paul matts brother wanted me to sign this book for him. I want to add that chris was always by matts side. When u saw one the other was not far behind. Chris loved his brother very much and greatly misses him.

I miss matt everyday! I am blessed to have called him my friend. He was always there to bring a smile to me. He is Greatly missed! He loved his family very much, and spoke often of you. I dont know how to convey my appreciation for raising such a wonderful man, other than he was just that a wonderful man. Thank you for allowing me the oppertunity to know matt and to call him my friend.

Matt was one of my very best freinds. We went fishing all the time. He loved to come over and watch movies with me or listen to some country music. I miss him. My prayers go out to his family and all of his friends. Matt was the kindest person I have ever known.

Matt was always such a fun and funny guy to hang out with. I don't think I can think of him without it bringing a smile to my face. We hadn't talked in a couple years but, I have always thought of him as more then family but, also one of my best friends growing up. I miss him very much. Words cannot express how we feel. Matt was more than just a close friend to April, he was also a good friend of ours. I not only knew him personally but worked with him while he lived here.
