Maureen Field

Maureen Anne Field, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully in March 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Mary Jane Haney.

Maureen was the devoted mother of John Field, who passed away later that same year, and the proud grandmother of Clara, whom she adored.

A longtime resident of Lafayette, Colorado, Maureen dedicated her career to education, teaching English at Connections Academy for nearly two decades. Earlier in life, she also worked at StorageTek in Broomfield, where she formed lasting friendships. She earned her degree from Mount passionate about learning throughout her life.

One of eleven children in the Haney family, Maureen is survived by her siblings: Tom Haney, Jr. (Karen), Susan Cossitt, Katy Machacek (Bob), Joan Pappalardo, Jim Haney (Connie), Mark Haney (Jeannie), Mary Bonnell, Jackie Haney, and Julie Seiler.

Maureen will be remembered for her warmth, quiet strength, and enduring love for her family. She brought kindness and compassion to those around her and remained deeply connected to her siblings and extended family throughout her life. St. Joseph University and remained.

In accordance with her wishes, no formal services were held.
