Dear Mavis, it has been a year since you passed away. Do miss our talks and visits when you were at Holy Family Hospital.
Softly the leaves of memories fall
Gently I gather and treasure them all,
Unseen, Unheard, so loved, so missed, And So Very Dear!
Thinking of You

Although I only met your Mother twice that I can recall, I was kept up with many of her exciting exploits through my Mom (when she was still alive) and my aunt Gladys, cousin Mae and on one occasion, through my youngest daughter who had the honor to meet her when she was doing a project at university. I must say that your Mom had a fascinating and inspiring life and I am sure that you all miss her very much.
Yours sincerely, Eileen Yearwood (my Mom Doris was your Mother's first cousin, being the daughter of Nathan and Irma Carter)

An amazing woman, and family, with whom I've had the pleasure of knowing my entire life. Deeply saddened, but glad a new, easier journey has begun for you Mavis, and Mum will be happy to see you again.
