I was fortunate to have had Max as a mentor and dear friend for 40 years. Around 1970 Max retired from the road and I bought his truck. He couldn't stay retired so went back out on the road and about 15 years later I bought his truck when he retired a second time! He was one of a kind, with a world class sense of humor. A great family man, and his legacy will live on through his wonderful children and grand children. God speed, Max.
