Maxine Marie Case

LUBEC - Maxine Marie Case, 80, of Lubec passed away Dec. 7, 2014 at a Bangor hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Trescott, March 9, 1934 the daughter of the late George and Eva (Tinker) Moores.

She married Bernard G. Case in 1957. Together they raised two sons- Garry L. Moores and Bernard W. Case. Maxine loved her family first and foremost. She was a wonderful cook. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary of Stuart Green Post #65 in Lubec, and was a devout Catholic attending the Sacred Heart Church in Lubec.

She is survived by her two sons; Garry and wife Linda of Lubec, their children Mary, Peggy, Joe, and Jaimie and Bernard W. Case and wife Pamela of Brewer and their children Vanessa and Jazzy; great grandchildren, Brian, Cody, Kristina, and Kara Scoville, Ashton Farrington, Delaney and Dakota Moores, Joey, and another due in May; a brother Leonard Moores of Orono; sisters - Kathleen Moores, Myrtle Moores, and Bertha Jones, two special sisters-in-law, Marion "Susie" Lodge of Lubec, and Dorothy "Dot" Spencer of Whiting; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Bernard G. Case in Dec. of 2011; two brothers Philip and Milford; and two sisters-Vivian and Phyliss.

Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday Dec. 13, 2014 at the Greenlawn Cemetery, Lubec. Arrangements are in care of McClure Family Funeral Services, Machias and Lubec. Condolences and memories may be shared at www.mcclurefamilyfuneral.com
