May MACPHERSON Obituary

Published by Saskatoon StarPhoenix on Jul. 11, 2015.
May MacPherson
Passed away peacefully at the age of 92, on July 1, 2015. May is predeceased by her parents, ten siblings, her husband Hector, and sons Brian and Garnet. She is survived by son Malcolm and his children Jaimie, Lisa, Christopher, Stephan; daughter Carol Whitehead and her sons Jim (Jodi), Shaun (Jackie); daughter Colleen (Rob) Herrick and their sons Doug, Mike, and Mark; daughters- in-law, Carol MacPherson and her children Kirsten (Joe), Nathan, Zachary; Marion MacPherson and her daughters Cydney and Renee; as well as 11 great-grandchildren. May was a past member of the Nutana Branch #362 Royal Canadian Legion. She loved to spend time with her family and enjoyed celebrating all holidays. May was always cheerful and loved to make others laugh and smile. We are truly grateful for the care she received at Sherbrooke Nursing Home and the wonderful ladies who provided kind, compassionate care and stayed by her side. A private Memorial Service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Sherbrooke Community Centre. Arrangements are entrusted to Prairie View Chapel and Crematorium.

My thoughts are with you as you celebrate your mother's life. Aunt May was always willing to attend family functions. She was a good, kind person. She will be remembered.
