Megan Nicole Mullins

Megan Nicole Mullins, 22, born Dec. 8, 1994, passed away Saturday, Feb. 25, 2017.
Megan was saved at Elm Springs Baptist Church when she was 9 years old.

Megan was a wonderful young lady taken away too soon. In her short life she experienced far more than most. She had traveled to most of the 50 contiguous united states. She trained her own horse and became a champion barrel racer. She worked hard and was well loved by those she worked with. Megan never experienced having children of her own but considered herself a second mother to two very special children, Addie and Clinton Greene. She loved them with the ferocity of any natural mother. Megan enjoyed life to its fullest. Never did she meet a stranger. She loved all animals, especially her horses.

Megan will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, John and Bessie Mullins.

Megan is survived by parents, John and Lisa Mullins; sister, Jena Leann Mullins; brother, John Logan Mullins; grandparents, Carl Seal and Harmon and Lois Brooks; great-grandmother, Tina Seal; aunts, Francis Elaine Johnson and Frankie Anderson; and uncle, Shane Seal.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 28 at the McNeil Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Tommy Louthan and Charles Roberts officiating. Interment will follow in the Seal Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 27 at the McNeil Funeral Home.
