On Tuesday, July 30th, 2013 in her 29th year. Melissa Richmond (nee Wilson) of Winchester beloved wife of Howard Richmond. Loving daughter of Raymond and Millie Evans (nee Wilson). Much loved granddaughter of Bob (Grumpy) and Geraldine Wilson and Douglas and the late Colleen Evans. Also survived by many loving friends and relatives. Visitation at the

on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
Funeral Service at St. George's Chapel, Garrison Petawawa on Saturday, August 3rd, 2013 at 11 a.m. followed by cremation. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Winchester Food Bank would be appreciated. Online Condolences may be left at www.nevillefuneralhome.ca

Mr. and Mrs. Evans,
I met Melissa last year at a "Wilton Cake Course" Melissa, Deborah and I sat at the same table. We shared a lot of laughter at that table, we were so excited about learning how to make cakes and fondant flowers as well as taking the Master Course in Chicago, someday. Melissa also mentioned how excited she was about making Deborah's wedding cake in January.
The two of them were like an old married couple, simply a "HOOT" to watch them together. They shared a special bond and for the short time I shared around them it was obvious that they were the best of friends. She was truly a beautiful person inside and out and those BIG BABY BLUES could make anyone smile.
Rest in Peace Melissa, my heart and prayers go out to both of you Mr. and Mrs. Evans, and your family and friends. She is safe in the hands of our Lord now.
I lost my husband in 2009 and I realized after that we need to celebrate their lives. Please remember that Melissa lives on in your hearts and in all of those she has touched. Memories are what we are left with and those memories will forever live on in all of us. You are both in my prayers, God Bless

Mr. and Mrs. Evans: I did not know Melissa but am a former resident of Winchester. I have been very touched by the photo of your beautiful daughter and the obvious sincerity in her smile and in her eyes...with some people the love just shines in their faces and she is one such person. I know she is being held save in the arms of our Lord and sincerely hope that the Lord also help the two of you through this incredibly painful time and also know God will severely judge this vicious crime.
