Dear Ellen, Andrew, Cliff, and Claudia,
I will always cherish the memories of being across-the-street neighbors with the Roth family. Mel and Ina were a second set of parents, so kind and welcoming. They truly enjoyed life, and I hope we can all say the same. Much love, Nancy Reese

Dear Ellen and family, I just became aware of the passing of your dear Father and want to say that I am sorry and saddened. Many years have passed since any of us have seen each other and yet I can feel the warmth and kindness that always characterized your parents. It was always a happy experience to be together. My deepest sympathy to all of you and prayers for peace. Love, Ann Ungar

Dear Ellen, Claudia, Cliff, Andrew, and your families,
Mel and Ina were such special neighbors. We enjoyed hearing about your families and your holidays together. Mel and Ina loved to hear our kids playing outside. I'll never forget when Mel broke his car door and had it tied closed with a piece of rope! There are not many people as special as Mel and Ina were, and we feel blessed to have had them for neighbors. They are truly missed. May God give all of you strength through this difficult time.

Claudia, Ellen, Andrew, and Cliff,
I am so sorry to hear about your dad's passing. Mel was a wonderful boss(Robert Wholey and Co.) and dear person. I feel blessed to have known him. I have fond memories of his stories of all of you and Ina and the traditions you had for each holiday. He was so happy to share the horseradish in beet juice and Gefillte Fish that he and Ina made every year. I always looked forward to that. He was a special person I will never forget. You all are in my thoughts and prayers.

Mr. Roth was one heck of a nice guy. He was my Sunday school teacher one year. Those days at a vibrant Gemilas Chesed were very special to so many families. The Roths were a big part of it. My deepest sympathy to Ellen and family.

Mr Roth was a dear neighbor of ours. We lived right next door in Greenridge. He and Ina were the best neighbors that anyone could ask for. There was never a holiday that went by when they didn't get our kids a gift. He will be missed. Our thoughts are with your family during this difficult time. Pat Laurie Nathan Meg Adam Prenatt
