Seven years later I still can't believe that Mike has left us. I miss you Mike... I remember the good times, the challenging times, and some of the best moments in your life. I remember when Liz was born... I remember stand-ing up as your best man when you married Pat (and the look on your mother-in-law's face as we regaled her with our recollections of Brains Ale in England)... I remember betting on long shots in Saratoga, and jazz concerts in the evening (and that awful stuff that passes as water up there)... I remember canoe trips down the Delaware... I remember too many nights at Charlie's (surprisingly)... I remember how incredibly hard you worked studying Chem E, and balancing that with feeding an entire fraternity as kitchen steward. I remember Earl... I remember the night you served everyone goat (maybe not a good idea at the time, but, hey, you kept to the budget, and I think Jake approved)... I remember your dad's belt sander... I remember meeting you and Joe for the first time as my next door neighbors in the dorm... I remember so many times with you... And I still find it hard to believe that you are not just a phone call away. And while I know you are in a better place, I still miss you my friend, my brother... May your family cherish their memories with you as I do. You live on in all of our memories, and in the legacy that you created with your fine children.

Mike was an incredibly gifted engineer and person. Having worked with him many years ago in schenectady, I am often reminded of his laughter and perseverence through many tough work situations. He will be sincerely missed by myself and many other engineers whom he influenced with many words of wisdom (at work and at home).

I cannot say enough how sorry I am for your loss. I worked with Mike for several years at GE and we occasionally shared rides when we had our respective car issues. He was truly a great person and his intelligence and humor will be sorely missed.

We used to commute together some years ago when we were on the same team at GE and had our respective car issues. He was a wealth of knowledge in all kinds of engineering as well as automobiles. He also taught me many lessons on managing multiple kids' busy schedules. He will be sorely missed.

Mike was my roommate at Stevens and Sigma Nu for two years. A wave of memories have returned - Mike calmly burning the midnight oil in preparation of an exam, organizing our kitchen staff, and always ready to share a big smile. I'm grateful he was part of our lives.
