Michael Patrick Beamer, 38 of Wildwood Lane, Shipman died Wednesday, January 14, 2009.

Born September 15, 1970 in Salem, N.J. a son of Richard Beamer of Penns Grove, N.J. and Roxine Ballentine of Schuyler.

Besides his parents he is survived by his wife; Penny H. Beamer of Culpepper; a daughter; Geri Lynn Beamer; his father-in-law Len Haithcock of Macon, NC two sisters: Kimberly Venuto and husband Douglas of Carneys Point, NJ, and Priscilla Beamer of Faber; two brothers; Richard Beamer, Jr. and wife Victoria of Schuyler and Alan Beamer and wife Lin of Trenton, NJ; his step-father Carl Ballentine, Sr. of Schuyler as well as numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, uncles and aunts.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday January 17, 2009 at WELLS/SHEFFIELD FUNERAL CHAPEL in Lovingston with Rev. Rob Evans and Rev. John Campbell officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour before time of service on Saturday.

Arrangements by WELLS/SHEFFIELD FUNERAL CHAPEL of Lovingston (434-263-4097).

My husband I send our heartfelt condolences to all who were close to Mike. We were pleased to hear him refer to us as family -- grandparents of Geri's cousins Zack and Rebecca -- when he appeared in Reston one night to hang our new kitchen cabinets on his way to a Phillies game. We always enjoyed our conversations with Mike. He will be well-remembered.
