MICHAEL BELCHER

LUCASVILLE-Michael Lee Belcher, 58, of Lucasville, died Monday, September 5, 2016 at the James Cancer Center in Columbus.

He was born March 12, 1958 in Columbus, a son of the late Clyde Haskell and Imogene Ruth Moore Belcher. Mike was a former employee and Manager at Lowes in Paintsville, KY., farmer, a member of C.A.R.P.S., and a 1976 Westerville High School graduate.

Mike loved baseball and was a strong contributor on and off the field for the Minford Little League. He was an avid OSU, Browns, and Reds fan. Mike never met a stranger, loved his children, spending time with family, and was our family historian. He loved the outdoors spending time gardening, fishing, hunting, and golf.

He is survived by his three children, Emilee Morgan Belcher of Columbus, Rex Michael Belcher of Columbus, and Timothy Eric Belcher of Wheelersburg; two brothers, Timothy (Anne Bosworth) Belcher of McDermott and Jonathan (Kim) Belcher of Bellefontaine, OH; two sisters, Rebecca (Ron) Neuhauser of Stoutsville, OH, and Deborah (Hans) Raidel of Westerville; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Graveside services will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, September 10, 2016 in Mt. Joy Cemetery. Friends may call 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the McKinley Funeral Home in Lucasville with procession leaving the funeral home at 10:15.

Sorry to hear of Mikes passing. We were best friends in grade school. No body can take that from us, nor the great memories of that time. We've been discussing this and laughing about some of the mischievous times on facebook over the last year. I greatly appreciate the friendship.

Greetings to all of the Belcher families.... I am so very sad to hear about Mike's death, and although we have not seen each other over the years, it still feels like I have now lost yet another brother. I am praying for each of you, and also that you will allow this to somehow bring you all together, with God's grace!

Carole, Diann & Family,
Marjorie was a nice lady and a great Christian. She will be missed by all who knew her. I have many memories, but the one I will remember the most was her sending me a birthday card every year for (68) years. Our parents were good friends. My mother was in evangelistic work and lead the singing at some of Carl's meetings. I know that with Marjorie being gone there is a big void in your families. We know that she is united with Carl in Heaven, what a wonderful day.
May GOD Bless you all and give you His peace.
