Michael Bialy Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Aug. 11, 2025.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michael P. Bialy, who died on March 30, 2025, in his home province of Alajuela, Costa Rica at the age of 54.

Born on December 8, 1970, in Yonkers, New York. Michael brought warmth and creativity into the world from an early age. Throughout his life, he was known for his generous spirit and artistic talent. He had a remarkable gift for design and craftsmanship, creating hand-knit and crocheted items under the name Handmade by "MB." These pieces were more than just fabric and thread-they were heartfelt expressions of care that he often gifted to others. His creations brought comfort and joy to many, reflecting the depth of his compassion.

Michael had a special connection with children, who were drawn to his kind nature just as he was drawn to their innocence and energy. His love for helping others extended far beyond his artistry; he gave freely of himself and formed lasting friendships with those fortunate enough to know him.

Michael is lovingly remembered by his sister and brother-in-law, Peggy LaBrosse (Bialy) and John LaBrosse; his sister/godmother Patti Murray (Bialy); his brother Paul Bialy and sister-in-law Mary Bialy; his nephew, Frank Bialy and Frank's fiancé, Marissa Cascella; his grand niece, Giavanna; his grand step nephew, Chase; his niece, Gina and her fiancee, Thomas LaRosa; and his stepmother Bobbie Bialy. He was preceded in death by his father Edwin Bialy, mother Anne Bialy (Blenniss) and brother Frankie Bialy.

Our family extends heartfelt appreciation for the support we have received from all who had the pleasure of knowing and loving Michael, not only in the United States but also his Tica/Tico friends and family in Costa Rica.

Michael's legacy lives on in the countless lives he touched through his kindness, creativity, and unwavering generosity. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.
