Michael Paul Damron

Michael P Damron at age 70 was embraced by our lord on January 23, 2024. Mike was born in wellington, Texas to parents Bill Curtis and Ruth Maurine Damron on February 19, 1953.

Mike attended and graduated from Ingleside High School. He went on to enlist in the U.S Army station in Germany. From the Army, he became a welder and lived in Alvin, Texas. This is where he meet his love Shauna Kay Sears. They married July 31,1978 and spent 46 years with her. They had 3 children and became grandparents of three wonderful grandchildren. After a short career as a welder, they settled in Ingleside and he had a 35 year carrier with Reynolds Metal Company.

Michael was passionate about the Lord and his word. Studied the bible daily as he grew in the lord. Michael was a fisherman and loved being on the water with his best friends. He also enjoyed catfishing with his wife. He was known for his funny wittiness and caring way. Michael will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Billy; sister, Kathrine.

Left to cherish his memories is his wife, Shauna Damron; children, Tracy Lynn Damron Turner, Billy O. Damron, and Jennifer N. Damron Hawthorne (Christopher); grandchildren, Joseph, Owen, and Hunter.

A memorial will be held at a later date.
