MICHAEL LEROY EALY JAN. 14, 1976 - AUG. 23, 2007 A resident of San Ramon, formerly of Modesto, Michael passed at the age of 31. He was a consultant for 1 year at Accenture. His hobbies included working out, video games, his children, movies, fine wine and learning.
Husband of Melissa Ealy, Father of Keyara and Michaela Ealy, Brother of Shawn Kirkpatrick, Dominic Banks, Delois Singh, all of Modesto and Angel Kirkpatrick of Santa Rosa. Son of Delois Ealy of Modesto. Preceded by father Leamon Ealy.
Visitation will be held Thur. Aug 30th from 4pm - 8pm; Service will be held Fri. Aug. 31st at 1pm, both at Salas Brothers Funeral Chapel. Disposition at Acacia Memorial Park.

A year has passed and a day does not go by that Michael is not in my thoughts. Keyara and I often have conversations about Daddy or how he would have thought or enjoyed what we are doing. Though he is gone he is constantly here with us. For all that read this, Thank You. Thank you for your support over the year of our new experiences of living with only him in our memory. Keyara and I have made our life positive and happy, day to day knowing that when we choose to have our "moment" it will come, but everyday is new and we choose to keep it positive and moving forward. Again, it's been a year, but EVERYDAY this one day repeats for me and I will remember Michael for all his good and know that he is resting peacefully now without any worries. ~Wife

I found out very recently about your loss and want to extend my condolences to you. I worked with Mike at Galletto for a few years. I was always impressed by his can-do attitude and commitment to all that he set his sights on. Though diligent attention to all of his endeavors was clearly one of his strenghts, the quality that always impressed me most about Mike was his obvious, loving devotion to his wife and family. He was so proud of and completely commited to all of you that even someone like myself, who did not know him much beyond the workplace environment, could not help but be aware of and appreciate his deep love for his family, which will continue for you always. Once again I find myself thinking of you and the accomplishments of your life. I think of how impressed I was with you and how far you had gone with your studies. I respect you in a way that I am unfamiliar with in any other friends I have. Why it is that you made such an impact on my life, I may never know, but you sent me into a search for knowledge that I did not desire until meeting you.
I thought I knew something about wines until you started searching and learning. You pushed me to learn more. I tried to out pace you, but you had such a studious way about you, I could never keep up. You gave me a drive that no one else could and I will be eternally grateful.
I hear your voice asking questions during lectures at school, I see your face around campus and I expect to hear something great about you when I talk to Melissa.
You really were my brother, my friend. You made everyone feel as though they were your best friend. You had a way about you that no one can emulate.
I will miss you my brother and I promise to watch over your family as best I can.

It was only 1 month ago that we were together as a family having dinner, laughing, smiling and enjoying. I like to remember that night-you smiled. Now, not a day goes by without thinking of you, nor a minute without missing you. You will be greatly missed by those who love you. You accomplished so many amazing feats in your young life. Your life and legacy lives on in the lives of your precious family.
