Michael Glen Etheridge,57 years old, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 2, 2017. Michael was born in Petaluma, CA on August 29, 1959 and is predeceased in death by his sister, Joyia Redman and son in-law, Frank Woolfolk. Michael graduated from Pensacola High School in 1977 and along with his former wife and friend, Maria, raised four children together, Clinton Etheridge, Mia Woolfolk, Shane Etheridge and Bridget Etheridge.
Michael was always the life of the party and was special to all that he knew. Born with a mischievous streak and a zest for life he had a way of bringing smile and laughter to everyone he met. Michael became an accomplished plumber and owned his own plumbing repair business prior to his death. Michael had a tremendous heart for his children, grandchildren, parents and siblings and always kept family gatherings at the forefront.
Michael is survived by his parents, Glen and Joyce Etheridge; brother, Randall (Jami) Etheridge; sister, Jill Etheridge; sons, Clint and Shane Etheridge; daughters, Mia Woolfolk and Bridget Etheridge; nephews, Austin Keener and Jonathan Redman; nieces, Lexxie Etheridge and Erin Etheridge; grandchildren, Mayarie Walker, Derrick Walker, Frank Woolfolk, Jr., William Woolfolk and Randall Clinton Etheridge.
A Memorial service will be held after visitation at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel, 2276 Airport Boulevard, on Friday, July 7, 2017 at 5:00pm-6:30pm, and conducted by Father James of the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart.

Dad I miss u so much and wish I could have one more day with u. Things got even colder when Shane passed. There isn't a day that goes by I don't think about u. I tried my best for ya dad n Shane. Nothing is the same, but I will pull thru and rise above .just keep y'all's spirit close by to guide me and protect me. I'm backed to wall n need your help too . Dad n Shane guide me thru this darkness and lead me into success and riches to take care of our family. To give us a real chance.

I apologize, I am just now seeing this and am in total disbelief. Mike was a great friend to my late husband, Gary Albright and I am sad to see this, but know that he is in great company. I haven't talked or seen you kids since you were very little, but my heart and prayers go out to you and all the family. God bless you all!

Pops you were like a Dad to me & were always there for me no matter what. I will cherish every single memory that I have of you. You could always make me laugh no matter what I was dealing with. I just wanted to send my thoughts and prayers to Mike's family. We are in total disbelief. We have known Mike, his two sons; Shane and Clint, and his dog Mimi for a few years now. He lived by us on Frisco Rd. David has helped fix a few things on his truck and we just really care for Mike and his family. Mike could definitely put a smile on your face. Such a good man and so sad to hear about this. From the bottom of our hearts we wish for his loved ones the best and may his memory never fade. Mike was like a brother to me. I am so thankful that I got to spend time with him just a few days before his passing. Mike, Greg and I laughed, shared our love for each other and got to share memories of the times that the three of us, along with my other brother Randy, have of the fun we had growing up. Mike will be missed by all the lives he touched! My deepest condolences to all the family.

Mike lived large. He was a "force of nature". He was fearless. And good gracious did the ladies love him. We went to Biloxi one time and while playing craps, he practically had the entire casino at his table shouting WINNER, WINNER, WINNER, WINNER!!! It was hilarious although security did not think so. Mike was totally unpretentious. He was who he was, a very unique person who was going to enjoy himself. Heaven just got more fun.

Mike was a second father to my daughter Jennifer and a genuine friend to her. He was such a wonderful man. I am forever grateful to him and thankful that I got to know him. Always a joy to talk to and visit. He's now in the presence of almighty God. Thankfully, we will see him again. To the family and many close friends, may Jesus provide you strength to endure, with comfort and peace to continue on. Mike was truly a remarkable man and lives on.
