MICHAEL GIAMPIETRO Jr.

Michael Giampietro Jr. Cherished his family and friends, and was loved by all Michael Giampietro Jr. of Belleville, N.J., passed away on Oct. 3, 2015. A private memorial service was held at the request of the family. Arrangements were by the Cremation Society of New Jersey, 470 Colfax Ave., Clifton, N.J. Please visit cremationnj.com. Mr. Giampietro was born in Newark, N.J., and lived most of his life in Belleville. He served in the U.S. Navy, and went on to become a building superintendent at the BridgeBrooke Condominiums in Belleville for 35 years. He was the beloved husband of Rose (nee Carpino); dear father of Philip Agosta and his wife, Debra, Thomas Agosta and his wife, Denise, and his daughter, Yolanda; grandfather of Daniel, Thomas, Michael, Allison and her husband, Paul Bayona, Vincent, Noelle, Bridget, and Joey; brother of Anthony Giampietro and his wife, Nancy, and the late Ralph and Daniel, and brother-in-law of Anna and Barbara. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends, and Timmy. In Michael's memory, donations can be made to the Belleville PBA Local 28 (152 Washington Ave.) and FMBA Local 29 (275 Franklin Ave).
